  • Placing Of Jade Plants : Young plants should be kept in bright, indirect sunlight; large, well-established jade plants can handle more direct sunlight. Kitchens and offices with a south-facing window are typically great spots with just enough light, as are western-facing windows. Keep away from the AC vents.
  • Benefits of Jade Live Plant: Not only does it purify air by absorbing toxic gases, but also absorbs CO2 at night. Also, it is believed to bring good luck & prosperity to your home and workplace according to Feng Shui & Vaastu.
  • Watering Schedule For Jade Plant : Don’t water your jade plant on a schedule. Rather, water your jade plant when the top of soil is just dry to the touch.
  • Plant height without the pot is 4-5 inches; Pot Specification – 4 inches Fiber Pot; Quantity – 1.
  • Pot is self- watering where excess water gets stored in the reservoir below, the roots then absorbs water via capillary action and the plants get water as and when required, allowing you to water less frequently. Making it perfect plant for office desk.

Light Jade min

Jade plants love light, and young plants especially should be exposed to bright, indirect sunlight in order to thrive. Jade plants young and old should receive at least four to six hours of sunlight daily, but keep the plant safe from direct rays. Harsh light can scorch young, immature plants or cause the leaves of older ones to turn red.

Watering min

Watering jade plants correctly is very important! Allow your jade plant's soil to nearly dry out between waterings, but always be sure to water thoroughly. When displayed in areas with less light, it will need watering less frequently. During the summer months, when your plant is in growth mode, keep the soil slightly moist but not soggy. In the fall and winter, the plant may go dormant, causing it to slow or pause growth entirely. During this time, it won’t need much water. Water it even less often, allowing the soil to dry out fully between waterings.

Fertilisation min

Many people underfeed their succulents during their growing season. For the most successful jade plant, Feed it with a balanced fertiliser, 0-20-10 or 5-10-5 ratio every 2 weeks. Don’t fertilise the plant in winter as it is a slow growing season.

Spotty, discolored, or dropping leaves on Jade Plant that hasn’t been watered in a while can indicate the opposite problems : drought stress. If you see these signs, water the plant and monitor the soil moisture going forward.

Repotting min

Repotting Jade Plants

Jade plants don’t mind being root bound in a small pot. In fact, keeping them root bound will keep the jade smaller and more manageable.

· Repot young jade plants once every 2 to 3 years to encourage growth. With older jade, repot once every 4 to 5 years or as necessary.

· Transplant in the early spring, just before the growing season begins.

· After repotting, don’t water the plant for a week or so. Wait at least a month before fertilizing so as not to accidentally burn fresh roots.

Plant Care Tips

  1. Mealybugs or scale may hide under stems and leaves. To remove the pests, use a spray bottle of water or wipe the insects off gently with a bit of rubbing alcohol on a paper towel or cotton swab. Repeated applications will be necessary to remove the pests’ offspring. If the plant is too heavily infested, it may be better to take a clean cutting from it and start anew.
  2. Root rot is caused by excessive moisture in the soil. Let the soil dry out between waterings.
  3. Shrivelled or wrinkled leaves are signs of a thirsty plant in need of more frequent or deeper waterings.
  4. All-over yellowing & squishy leaves indicates that the plant is getting too much water.
  5. Leaf drop is a symptom of watering issues, too.

  2. Packaging: Plant is secured in a good quality cardboard packaging. Inner Box holds the potted plant in place so that any movement during transit does not affect the plant. Outer box has slits which allow the plant to breathe freely during transit.

  2. Tony

It took a while to arrive ( still way before the estimated delivery date thank goodness) and I was so worried if my plant will make it through the journey. The packhing tube I got was a little bent but everything inside was safe. Kudos to the shop for providing such amazing packhing and safely delivering my plant. It looked lush and full. So far it’s healthy, I hope I can take care of it well.

The pot and soil and everything looks fine. Happy with purchase. Will buy from the shop again and will recommend it to others

  3. Amar

    1. The health of the plant received was really good.
    2. The packaging was on point. The top layer of the soil was covered with moss to lock the moisture (well that’s what i presume it was for).
    3. When you receive the parcel make sure you follow the instructions while opening it as some people harm the plant while unpacking.
    4. After you get the plant out make sure to give it sunlight and water.

At first i was bit skeptical regarding online purchase of a plant, but i must say it was rather a good experience.
